This book is more of an "instant love" book so if you aren't into that type of story it may not interest you! Overall, I thought the story was excellent and I love books about Rock Stars!!! :)

Two words: DAVID FERRIS!!! He is most definitely a swoon worthy book boyfriend!

Imagine going to Vegas to celebrate your 21st birthday and waking up with a major hangover on your bathroom floor only to find out you are married! To top it off you aren’t just married to anyone, it happens to be this HOT amazing tattooed Rock Star!!!!! (I wish my 21st birthday could have been as fabulous as that) But, the real twist to the whole scenario…. You don’t remember a single bit of it… but he does.

‘He physically recoiled from me. “Let me get this straight, you don’t remember anything?” “No,” I said, swallowing hard. “What did we do last night?” “We got f***ing married,” he growled.’
David is furious that Evelyn (Ev) can’t remember anything from their wedding night and knows that she wants to get their marriage annulled. (Throwing up after hearing the news definitely didn’t help her case) When she returns home though, the paparazzi are already waiting on her arrival. They are camped out at the airport and at their homes. David sends for her to come and stay with him until they can get the matter straightened out.

Over time feelings start to develop between David and Ev and they decide that maybe they should try to work out this marriage and just see how it goes.

‘”Love isn’t always smooth or straightforward. It can be messy and painful,” he said. “Doesn’t mean it isn’t still the most incredible thing that can ever happen to you. Doesn’t mean I’m not crazy about you.”’

While trying to learn about someone it takes time to adjust and build the trust you need for a relationship. David and Evelyn were not in love when they started the journey but over time their feelings for each other grew. Of course, no relationship is ever simple and there always has to be obstacles thrown in their path. (Whether it be an ex-girlfriend, a parent, other family situations and so on)

I love love love Malcolm’s character in the book and what he brings to the story. The friendship that he offers Evelyn (Ev) when she felt that she had no one. I loved how he could see straight through David’s crap too and know exactly how his friend was feeling!

The ending is phenomenal!

Would definitely recommend this book
