My Review:

 

Worth The Chance was a breath of fresh air for me! This isn’t a story of instant love but a second chance at finding the one that got away. The person you let slip through your fingers so long ago because you were afraid you were never good enough for them.

Liv Michaels is currently working to get her dream job! Only one article stands in the way of landing that job too! The subject of that article just happens to be on the one guy that broke her heart all those years ago….Vinny Stonetti , now known as Vince Stone. She tries to give the article away but after he sees her for the first time he only wants her to write about him. She has to do it now…. She wants this job but being around him after all this time and all those feelings will be difficult. She will just have to try to keep it strictly professional.

“I was young and inexperienced, but my heart told me he cared about me too. Then it just ended. And I spent the next year of my life feeling stupid for thinking he felt something for me too. To say I was devastated would be an understatement. It crushed my faith in so many things… young love, trusting my judgment on boys, giving my heart to someone else. “

After Vince sees Liv for the first time after all these years and figures out she is the one doing the article on him, she consumes all his thoughts. He has to get to know her again. He wants a second chance with her and this time not to stop things they way he did so long ago. How can he break down the walls she has put up though?? Vince/Vinny is so intense. He is a fighter and has been since a young age. He has always been more experienced than the sweet innocent tutor Liv. (She was his tutor when they were in school) He could never really give her what she needed and knew he wasn’t good enough for her so he did what he thought was best for her and walked away. But, now she is back in his life and this time he just has to have her.

“I wish I didn’t love his response, but I do. It’s defiant and socially improper, but it’s also raw and honest. And everything that attracted me to him so many years ago. He is who he is, and makes no apology if it’s not what you expect.”

The chemistry between Vince and Liv is intense. Their passion for each other jumps off the pages. There is no doubt that they have something between them that is raw. It’s a need that draws them together. The only problem is that Liv has a portion of her article that she is keeping secret in hopes to protect Vinny… not hurt him but it has the potential to destroy his world and everything he knows. Vinny’s drug addict mother also brings in trouble that could potential ruin things for him.

This is definitely a must read! I love love love Vinny and will be adding him to my book boyfriends! I just love me a tough fighter guy!!! Phenomenal job to Vi Keeland for writing such a fantastic story that kept me reading from beginning to end not wanting to put the book down to sleep!
