Excerpt

My front door was still open as he kissed me. He spun me around, kicking the door closed with his foot. My back was up against the door, as he kissed me. I felt the world stop for just a second.
“I want you so much, Danielle. I need you.”
I could hear the need in his voice. I felt my shirt coming over my arms before I could react and saw it go flying across the room. He was pulling at my waist, grasping possessively with his fingers. He was pulling our bodies so close together that not even a piece of paper would slide between us.
“I want you, too. TJ, I need you.” My voice was a distant whisper. All I could hear was the loud beating of my heart. He kissed his way down my neck while he unbuttoned my jeans. They were off in less than a second. There was no stopping him now as he was burning with desire. I could feel how much he wanted me with every soft kiss. It was enough to push me over the edge. I was gasping now, feeling my breath caught in my throat. “Let’s go to my room, TJ.” I could barely hear my own voice.
“I need you now, Danielle…so much. I can’t wait that long. I want you right here.” His voice was rough and hoarse.

My Review:

Stars : 4

A sweet, romantic childhood love getting the chance it never had.

Timmy (TJ) and Danni (Danielle) were neighbors growing up. There were always shared glances and electrifying touches. There was even a proposal and wedding in the backyard but eventually you have to grow up. Timmy was a nerd who played/built metal robots while Danni moved on to be come beautiful and popular. Overtime they drifted apart but the feelings they felt for each other never really disappeared.

Timmy's mom moved away and Timmy went with her leaving behind all of his feelings for Danni. Danni had graduated from college and returned to her home town to work at their old high school. Timmy now referred to as TJ has come back into town to settle his father's estate.

TJ has turned from geek to sleek!!! He is no longer the scrawny nerd he once was but is now a handsome and well built man. The transition and confidence that he now has is amazing! I loved how when he was growing up he never went after what he wanted. Now that he is older that is all he does. Those feelings that he thought were gone for Danielle are now back in full force. I loved where he had the interaction with Jackson in Home Depot.... now that was hilarious.

It was wonderful watching these two find love again. You know they had it when they were younger but let it slip through their fingers. Now is their chance to find happiness. Whether it was staying home and watching movies or going away to the Biltmore for a weekend these two had passion and an amazing chemistry that will live in your heart after reading.
