Would you take another shot at love? Or just settle on a friend with benefits?
THEIR HEARTBREAKING PAST WILL MOVE YOU. THEIR PASSION WILL MAKE YOU BLUSH. THEIR ANTICS WILL MAKE YOU LAUGH OUT LOUD.
Twenty-five-year-old Natalie Davenport lugs substantial baggage. One boyfriend after the next has been a total disaster, leaving Natalie distrustful toward the male population in general. So when Colin Hampton crosses her path, she’s cautious. Her heart (and some other body parts!) nudges her to go for it, while her head wants her to run for the hills.
Colin is one of those gorgeous guys who attract women, no matter the age or marital status. With a successful career at a popular Seattle radio station, hard body, and charming personality, he is the complete package. But something dark lurks in the corners of his soul; some murky experience that has changed him—maybe for the better, but maybe for the worse.
Will he steal her heart and stomp over it like other guys did?
Will she let him into her heavily fortified world despite herself?
Or will they settle somewhere in the middle—establishing the emotional boundaries to protect them from falling in love?

I was born and raised in Poland. When I was just seven-years-old I decided to learn English, because I wanted to translate my favorite Polish fairytales.
I write in multiple genres, including paranormal, fantasy, urban fiction, sci-fi, contemporary, and short stories. I am a member of Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, Western Washington Chapter, author critique group, Writers In the Rain, and several authors’ and readers’ networking groups on Linkedin, Facebook, and Goodreads.
I love reading good books almost as much as writing them. I describe myself as “European born, American by choice”. I can never decide which season I prefer—summer or fall. I speak with Polish accent and love listening to the Southern drawl. I am passionate about watercolor painting, fashion—especially stilettos, rock climbing, environment, and organic food and gardening. I live in the Seattle area with my family and a chronically curious cat, Cinnamon.

My Review:
Natalie hasn’t had the best of luck when it comes to relationships. She runs into Colin at work one morning wearing her bra…. Talk about embarrassing!!! She definitely catches Colin’s eye though and he gives her his number. The question for Natalie though is does she want a relationship or only a friends with benefit type of relationship. This book had some funny, laugh out loud moments especially with Natalie and her friends. It reminded me a lot of the girls from Sex in the City. They are open and willing to talk about pretty much any topic. I think the sword fight will have to go down in history as a hilarious scene! The second would have to be the cake and Mrs. Yeng returning mail! Priceless!
Colin and Natalie start off so romantic and it is funny how Natalie can’t believe it’s been two dates and then three and then it’s been two months! He is so swoon-worthy! But, there is a past that hasn’t been revealed yet and once it comes out could it be the end of their relationship or are they firm enough to stick it out???
Book 2 Review:
I loved how this starts off with Colin’s POV and we get a history of his background with Faith and what happened right before and leading up to when Faith died. I am soooo glad this was included in Book 2 because after the bomb dropped from book one I really wanted to read more on the issue.
Colin and Natalie are going HOT and I do mean HOT and heavy!!! WOWZERS!!! But, now that they are finally getting to a point of being happy some strange tattooed guy named Razor shows up and freaks Natalie out. He is from the past and wants her to warn Colin that he is back and will pay for what he did to ‘HER’. That took us on an adventure that I really wasn’t expecting and had you wandering what kind of crazy psycho this guy truly was.
Also, Natalie and Ali end up making a new friend which opened a whole new door of craziness!!! Although their new friend did come in handy when needed against crazy psycho stalkers!!! But, to be honest… I wouldn’t have done half the things those girls got themselves into! I loved Ali’s character though! She was a hoot especially when she was talking with the escort.
There wasn’t really a cliffhanger at the end of this novel but it was action packed and was entertaining from beginning to end!
Book 3 review to come! I wanted each one to be highlighted separately!
Thank you for participating in the Almost Bad Boys book tour. I'm glad you enjoyed Almost Matched and Almost Broken Up. Thanks for reading and reviewing. Have fun reading Almost Too Far.
